About

We are Parnell's premier dance studio offering pre-school dance classes, classical ballet and jazz syllabus classes, open contemporary, wedding dance tutoring, and private dance and strength and conditioning coaching. Our classically designed, boutique studio features an in-studio changing room, mirrors, custom built ballet barres, a seating area and private kitchenette. We believe small class sizes are best - all of our classes are capped at 8 to ensure our dancers receive the very best learning experience.

We currently run classes for preschooler's through to adult learners in various disciplines. Our syllabi of choice is the Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD) syllabi. Dancers are invited to sit an annual examination in their chosen discipline and can choose to enter for a participation award or for a graded certification. 

We are actively involved in the community and take part in various community events such as the Parnell Rose Garden Festival. We also invite all dancers to participate in our annual recital at the end of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve performance skills and to show friends and family what students have learned over the course of the year

We welcome all dancers to try their first class free-of-charge. We also welcome students who are transitioning from learning different syllabi to join us. If you would like to book a class, please email hello@parnellschoolofdance.co.nz to reserve.
