At Parnell School of Dance we believe in the power of movement, expression, and creativity, we nurture the connection between body and soul, and we create a professional, fun, and progressive learning environment specifically designed for dancers.

Through our classes, students will be given the opportunity to improve fine-motor and physical skills such as coordination, body awareness, and stamina, whilst also allowing for creative expression and professional dance development.  We take pride in creating a welcoming and all inclusive learning environment - students are invited to participate in our classes regardless of their confidence, skill level, or gender.  For those wishing to dance at a more serious level, we offer classical ballet, jazz, and contemporary examinations through the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) syllabus as well as private tutoring in dance and strength and conditioning. Examinations are optional (though recommended), and typically take place in the third term of the year.

Throughout the year we take part in various community events such as the Parnell Rose Garden Festival. We also invite all dancers to participate in our annual recital and prize-giving at the end of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to improve performance skills and to show friends and family what they have learn't over the course of the year.

We are so looking forward to having you as a part of our dance family. If you have any questions for us, simply send us an email
